Wire EDM Overview:

Wire EDM machine is controlled by CNC system and motors(stepper motor or servo motor), utilizes electrode wire (regularly molybdenum wire or brass wire) and high frequency impulse supply to get a certain gap, and realize impulse discharging in the working liquid between electrode wire and workpiece, to erode workpiece according to prepared scheduled track. CNC wire cut EDM machine is suitable for machining metal molds of high precision, high hardness, high tenacity and complex-shape parts, especially stamping molds, die molds, plastic molds, roll gear tools and up-down different sharp parts
